CJP Safety and Education Foundation
The CJP Safety and Education Foundation and its dedicated Safety Committee engage with CJP members on techniques and practices to fly their Citation and Premier aircraft in the safest possible manner and share safety-related resources with CJP members and the broader aviation community.
Please note that we don’t tell you how to fly your airplane but give you things to think about when you do. As a CJP member you have access to our initiatives and advisory safety materials at the links below.
Initiatives established by the committee include the annual convention Safety Stand Down, the Gold Standard Safety Award, the Safe to Land(R) and Gold Standard Simulator Training (GSST) program, and the CJP Flight Operations Quality Assurance (CJP FOQASM) program, allowing pilots to track and debrief their flights. Additionally, the committee has produced numerous training videos in the What Good Looks Like series along with publishing CJP’s Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) and Inflight Guides. Collectively these initiatives have led to tremendous improvements in the safety of Citation aircraft operated by CJP members. Many aviation insurance underwriters now recognize participation in these initiatives when writing policies for CJP members.
