A Recap of the Most Recent CJP Regional Event – Bentonville, AR
From the opening night air show, to the tour of Game Composites, to the impressive aerobatic pilot Philipp Steinbach, the recent CJP Regional event in Bentonville was a hit.
On Friday evening, attendees congregated at the airport for a special air show which kicked off with a CJ3+ (owned by CJP member Tracy Forrest and flown by Cyrus Sigari and General Craig Gourley) leading a formation flight followed by Lee Lauderback in a P-51 Mustang, Stuart Walton in his Corsair and a second P-51 from Stuart’s collection. The special fly-by was followed by a sequence of additional formation flights performed by both Lee and Stuart. To cap off the show, Philipp Steinback took to the air in his GB1 Gamebird for a great finale.
In addition, attendees enjoyed the evening with gourmet food trucks and musical entertainment while roaming the surrounding hangars displaying Walton’s aircraft collection. On Saturday morning, guests were treated to presentations by Philipp Steinbach, Lee Lauderback (along with his Falcon) and General Gourley at the manufacturing facility of Game Composites. A great tour of the facility followed where several members were even able to take a demo flight in the Gamebird. It was also announced and celebrated that a couple of CJP members planned to purchase this gem of an airplane for themselves!
The evening concluded at the outstanding Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Guests roamed the museum and then enjoyed a private dinner with special guest speaker Shane Tedjarati, President of Global High Growth Regions at Honeywell.
Another fantastic CJP regional event, drawing members together for some memorable sights and fun. We want to thank Cyrus Sigari and Kelly Drews for their efforts to make this event come together.
