Meet CJP’s Newest Partners
by Andrew Broom
CJP continues to grow in multiple areas including membership, web activity, safety initiatives, advocacy efforts and partners. In this issue of Flight Levels, I would specifically like to highlight our partners; both new partnerships and exciting developments among existing partnerships. Since the beginning of the year, we have added the following companies:
- Silver – SIMCOM Aviation Training
- Diamond – Karma Automotive
- Patron – Bose, Elliott Aviation, Jet Shades, Svalinn and UTC Aerospace/Goodrich De-icing
Please be sure to visit all of these valued partners and vendors during the CJP Convention in October. We are currently on track to break last year’s record of total exhibitors; each there to show you the latest in products and services.

SIMCOM recently announced they are offering Citation Mustang full motion simulator training. (See full release here).
A privately-owned, comprehensive learning institution, SIMCOM utilizes realistic simulator-based training to provide advanced aviation training services to professional pilots, owner-operators, Part 135 operators and maintenance personnel operating in general aviation, regional, military, government and cargo operations around the world. SIMCOM currently operates 51 simulators representative of a wide range of jet, turboprop and piston powered aircraft. The company is headquartered in Orlando, Florida, where it also operates two training centers. Additional training centers are located in Scottsdale, Arizona and Humberside, United Kingdom.
Bose will be demonstrating both the ProFlight and A20 Aviation Headsets at the convention. Designed for the professional pilot, the Bose ProFlight is the smallest aviation headset Bose has ever produced, with many new features designed specifically for airline and corporate aircraft flight decks, as well as owner-operators. New features include three user selectable levels of noise cancellation, a unique tap control for talk-through communication and quick release, side-swappable boom microphone and down cable.
Elliott Aviation is now authorized to install Tamarack ATLAS Active Winglets at all three Elliott locations: MLI, DSM and FCM. Tamarack ATLAS Active Winglets provide increased range, reduced time to climb, improve ride stability, save fuel and offer a higher useful load for the Citation CJ, CJ1, CJ1+, CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3, CJ3+ or M2.
Elliott Aviation is an FAA and EASA approved repair station for 525 series Citations. Their one-stop-shop headquarters in Moline also features industry-leading paint, interior, avionics and accessory services and is an ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D facility. As a second-generation, family-owned business, Elliott Aviation has been building partnerships that last since 1936.
Jet Shades was founded by an engineer and private pilot in Florida who saw the need for a new concept providing sun protection in the cockpit. The solution was to develop a quickly installed and easily removable tinted window panel inside the existing window opening. After considerable research, numerus prototypes and flight testing, Jet Shades was born. Jet Shades can be made to fit most aircraft cockpit windows where there is a small recess of the window into the trim of the aircraft.
Bred to Love. Trained to Protect. Simply put, Svalinn breeds, raises, trains and sells world-class protection dogs. From a health, temperament and characteristics standpoint, our ability to perfect our dogs’ genetic traits is an enormous advantage to our client’s peace of mind. In their first year alone, each dog receives roughly 2,000 hours of training. Located in Livingston, Montana, we likely are training your perfect protection companion right now.
